| The city, not the person imbecile.
Yeah, so I was in Paris for a week for a student exchange program, I don't feel like typing up all the details right now, but that's the reason why I was gone for the last week. I think I typed something up on Allisbrawl.
Anyways, it was pretty amazing, but I'm back now.

| It took about 3 1/2 hours by train to get there.
Google Earth says 500 km.

| The only time that I've ever been out of country is when I went to the Bahamas (twice). It was very nice there. | |

He feels dead because he's around too many books. Am I missing something here? >_>

Am I missing something here? >_> The books are about him. As in, biographies he didn't write himself. A lot of the time, people write biographies about people who have already died. Even when that's not the case, just the style of writing in them usually make the reflections sound distant. Thom is both still alive and famous.

| For someone who reads so much, you have a poor time understanding what you're reading. Like how you never seem to know when someone's being sarcastic. | |

I consider myself pretty good at noticing internet sarcasm. And I get it now. I misinterpreted the "about" to mean "around you," which leads to something completely different. Ambiguity for the lose.

| Not on this forum, though. There are many instances where the sarcasm just flies right over your head. | |
